A Christmas for Carol
One-Act Play

While the other members of her family are happily decorating the Christmas tree, Carol sits scowling in a chair. She thinks all this merrymaking is stupid and hypocritical. "Everybody talks about love, and peace, and good will, and all that garbage, and it's all so fake, I don't want any part of it," she tells friends who want her to go to the mall with them. But when she and her boyfriend go to the park together, something happens to help Carol understand why Christmas brings joy. The touching conclusion brings tears of happiness to audiences' eyes.
